Discoverer

Gregor Mendel, an Augustinian monk in Brünn, Austria, is by far the discoverer of modern genetics. He introduced in the middle 1800's the concept of genes as the unit carring passed on traits. His studies lead to the biochemestry we use today. inserting this unit, genes, Mendel opened the doors of genetics to the world and now many scientists have developed it to a mayor level in a slow pace, but not yet to it's full capacity.
